Product Name & Strength: Alabukun Powder; Acetylsalicylic Acid 760 mg, Caffeine 60 mg.
Indications (Approved Uses): For the fast relief of pain, cold, headache, and feverishness.
Contraindications (Safety Warnings): Do not use if hypersensitive to Acetylsalicylic Acid, caffeine, or any of the excipients. Use with extreme caution in patients with gout, hyperthyroidism, and arrhythmia. Do not use in cases of severe renal or hepatic impairment without consulting a physician. Must not be used in combination with other Acetylsalicylic Acid-containing products or alcohol.
Side Effects (Adverse Reactions): Common reactions include insomnia, restlessness, anxiety, and gastrointestinal disorder. Rare reactions include platelet disorders, depression, confusion, hallucinations, tremors, abnormal vision, oedema, haemorrhage, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, hepatic function abnormalities, hepatic failure, hepatic necrosis, jaundice, pruritus, rash, sweating, purpura, angioedema, urticaria, dizziness, malaise, pyrexia, and sedation. Very rare reactions include hepatotoxicity, thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, neutropenia, haemolytic anaemia, agranulocytosis, anaphylaxis, Stevens-Johnson Syndrome, hypoglycaemia, and bronchospasm.
Nutritional Information (per sachet): Acetylsalicylic Acid 760 mg, Caffeine 60 mg, Povidone K-30 (E1201), Povidone K-90 (E1201), Potato Starch, Pregelatinised Starch, Purified Talc, Croscarmellose Sodium, Stearic Acid (E570), Magnesium Stearate.
Instructions for Use / Dosage: For oral administration. Adults (16 years and over): Two powders up to four times daily. The dose should not be repeated more frequently than every 4 hours. Do not exceed 8 powders in 24 hours. Not recommended for children under 16 years.
