Shalina Shaltoux Chesty Cough, 100ml

Product Name & Strength: Shaltoux Chesty Cough Syrup, 100ml Bottle.

Indications (Approved Uses): Indicated for the treatment of bronchial asthma, emphysema, acute and chronic bronchitis, and other broncho-spastic conditions associated with mucus secretion.

Side Effects (Adverse Reactions): Known adverse reactions include nervousness, shakiness, tremor, headache, dizziness, excitement, sleeplessness, dilated pupils, weakness, nausea, an unusual taste, vertigo, and vomiting.

Nutritional Information (per 5 mL): Salbutamol (as Salbutamol Sulfate) 2 mg, Bromhexine (as Bromhexine Hydrochloride) 4 mg, Guaifenesin 100 mg, Menthol 1 mg.

Instructions for Use / Dosage: For oral administration. Adults and paediatric patients over 12 years of age: The usual starting dose is 1 tablespoon three times a day; if a favourable response does not occur, the dose can be increased on the advice of a doctor. Paediatric patients 6 to 12 years of age: The usual starting dose is 1 teaspoonful three times a day; if a favourable response does not occur, the dose can be increased on the advice of a doctor. Paediatric patients 2 to 6 years of age: Dosing should be initiated at 0.1 mg/kg of body weight of Salbutamol three times a day. The starting dosage should not exceed 2 mg of Salbutamol three times a day. If a favourable response does not occur, the dose can be increased on the advice of a doctor.
