Product Name & Strength: Toula Kids Sugar-Free Cough Syrup, 180ml.

Indications (Approved Uses): Soothing relief of an irritated or sore throat and the temporary mitigation of dry, tickly, non-productive coughs in infants, children, and adults.

Contraindications (Safety Warnings): Hypersensitivity to glycerol or any of the inactive excipients within the formulation. Absolute contraindication in neonates and infants under 6 months of age. Use with caution or avoid in individuals with known hereditary fructose intolerance, as sugar-free pediatric preparations frequently utilise polyol sweetening substitutes that can trigger distress in these individuals.

Side Effects (Adverse Reactions): Glycerol acts primarily via a mechanical, demulcent mechanism and is exceptionally well-tolerated. In rare instances of extreme overconsumption, mild gastrointestinal side effects such as abdominal bloating, flatulence, nausea, or a mild laxative effect leading to diarrhoea may occur due to the osmotic properties of the base components.

Instructions for Use / Dosage: For oral administration. Infants aged 6 to 12 months should be given 5 ml up to 3 to 4 times daily. Paediatric populations aged 1 to 6 years should receive 10 ml up to 3 to 4 times daily. Children aged 6 to 12 years and adults may take 15 ml up to 3 to 4 times daily. Administer using the calibrated dosing device provided in the packaging.
