Product Name & Strength: Pregnacare Conception, 30 Tablets.

Indications (Approved Uses): Specially formulated for women to help support a healthy conception when trying for a baby. It prepares the female body by building and safeguarding essential nutritional stores ready for pregnancy and supporting good reproductive health. Clinical benefits include contributing to normal fertility and reproduction via zinc, regulating hormonal activity via vitamin B6, and increasing maternal folate status via a recommended 400µg level of folic acid, which reduces the risk of neural tube defects in the developing foetus and assists maternal tissue growth. It also supports cell division via vitamin D, vitamin B12, iron, and magnesium; aids normal energy release via biotin and copper; assists the normal function of the immune system and normal formation of red blood cells and haemoglobin via iron; and helps maintain the normal functioning of the nervous system via vitamins B6 and B12.

Contraindications (Safety Warnings): It is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity or allergic reactions to any of its active vitamins or excipients (contains soya). Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using if you are under medical supervision, have epilepsy, a thyroid condition, haemochromatosis, or suffer from food allergies. Discontinue use once pregnancy has been confirmed. This product contains iron, which if taken in excess, may be harmful to very young children.
