Finasil Antifungal Spray Terbinafine Hydrochloride, 15ml

Product Name & Strength: Finasil Spray, Terbinafine Hydrochloride 10 mg, 15 mL.

Indications (Approved Uses): Indicated for the treatment of tinea manus, tinea pedis (athlete's foot), tinea corporis, tinea cruris (jock itch), and tinea versicolor.

Contraindications (Safety Warnings): Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to terbinafine or any of its excipients, lactating women, and children. It must not be used on broken skin. It should be used with caution in pregnant women or women trying to conceive. Avoid spraying into the face and eyes, as the alcohol content can cause irritation. Consult a physician or pharmacist for potential drug interactions if using other concomitant medications.

Side Effects (Adverse Reactions): Common adverse reactions include skin desquamation and itching. Occasional side effects may include skin lesions, crusting, skin discomfort, skin colour change, redness, burning sensation, pain, and irritation at the site of administration. Rare side effects include dry skin, eczema, contact dermatitis, and a worsening of symptoms. Severe allergic reactions (such as difficulty breathing, swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat, or a severe itchy rash) require immediate medical attention.

Instructions for Use / Dosage: For topical administration. Clean and dry the skin before use. Spray generously on and around the affected skin. For interphalangeal athlete's foot, tinea corporis, and jock itch: apply once a day for a 1-week course of treatment. For pityriasis versicolor: apply 2 times a day for a 1-week course of treatment.
