Indications (Approved Uses): Indicated for the topical treatment and prevention of tinea pedis (athlete's foot) and other superficial cutaneous fungal infections caused by susceptible dermatophytes. It is universally utilised to provide effective relief from localized symptoms such as severe pruritus (itching), burning sensations, skin scaling, painful erythema (redness), and cracking of the skin between the toes or on the soles of the feet.
Contraindications (Safety Warnings): Contraindicated in individuals with a known hypersensitivity or allergic reactivity to tolnaftate or any of the structural excipients within the formulation, such as butylated hydroxytoluene. It is strictly not indicated for the treatment of fungal infections affecting the scalp (tinea capitis) or the nails (onychomycosis), as topical sprays cannot adequately penetrate these keratic structures. Avoid direct contact with the eyes, oral cavity, or other sensitive mucous membranes. Do not apply onto severely lacerated, broken, deeply ulcerated, or intensely inflamed skin matrices. This is a highly flammable pressurised container; it must be kept away from open flames, sparks, or direct heat sources. Clinical evaluation during pregnancy and lactation requires caution, and a healthcare professional should be consulted prior to use.
Side Effects (Adverse Reactions): Universally well-tolerated with an exceptional safety profile due to negligible systemic absorption. Potential mild and transient adverse reactions are restricted entirely to the site of application and may include minor localised skin irritation, contact dermatitis, pruritus, transient stinging, mild burning, or erythema.

Instructions for Use / Dosage: For topical administration. Adults and children should thoroughly wash and completely dry the infected cutaneous area prior to application. Shake the container vigorously before use, point the nozzle towards the affected area from a distance of 10 to 15cm, and spray liberally twice daily (in the morning and at night). It is highly recommended to wear clean hosiery or socks daily and allow the treated skin to dry thoroughly before putting on footwear. Clinical compliance must be maintained by continuing the application for two weeks after all visible symptoms disappear to ensure complete eradication of the fungus and prevent recurrence. If symptoms fail to improve or worsen after 10 days of continuous use, discontinue application and seek medical advice.
